Meet The Team

Kelly

CEO & Founder

A physicist and engineer by training, now a nonprofit leader and voice in the arena of post-addiction employment models. Kelly never imagined leaving her career in IT but has never been happier than when seeing the women on her team achieve their potential.

Rachel

Employee Growth & Business Operations Manager

Rachel has a background in nonprofit project management and overseas missions. Equal parts process fanatic and morale cheerleader, she is passionate about seeing the women of Unshattered thrive professionally and personally.

Amanda

Creative Lead & Production Manager

Moving to a new school as a preteen led to experimental drug use. Over-prescription of pain killers after a car accident led to a heroin addiction. Now, Amanda is a mom, a leader, and a talented custom handbag designer!

Thank you for being part of my journey!

Dee Dee

Seamstress

Dee Dee was born in prison and life went downhill until she achieved sustainable sobriety in 2016. She recently spoke on stage at the White House on her journey and why employment matters!

I'm so grateful for your support!

Margie

Seamstress & Designer

Margie experienced devastating loss in her family and found herself spiraling into alcoholism. A former Pentagon employee, she's now a custom designer and dynamite seamstress!

Thank you for helping me get my spirit back. It was broken.

Dea

Seamstress & Designer

Dea survived an act of sexual violence at the hands of a family member. She spent years using cocaine to hide from the pain, losing her career and her dreams. Now she's a talented seamstress and saleswoman!

Thank you for helping me live an Unshattered life!

Lois

Lead Designer

Nearly an entire lifetime of trauma led Lois into despair. Drinking alcohol was easier than trying to believe she had any value. Today, she's a dynamite designer and genius kit maker!

I love what I do... and I'm so glad you love it too!

Jennifer

Seamstress & Designer

Being molested as a child by a trusted adult led to crumbled self esteem and isolation. Jen turned to drugs and alcohol for comfort. But now she's finding out she's more talented than she ever thought!

Because of you I am Unshattered!

Aliza

Seamstress

An unhealthy relationship shattered Aliza’s self-confidence and sent her spiraling into alcoholism and depression. Today, Aliza is stepping out of her comfort zone to learn new things and become a confident member of this incredible team!

I believe in this mission, and I’m learning who I truly am. Thank you!

Savana

Seamstress

Living in an environment of gang violence, drugs, and criminal activity, Savana was a lost young girl looking for love and attention in a place she couldn’t find it. A terrifying overdose was the catalyst to her change. Today, Savana is growing not only as a talented seamstress, but as a role model as well.

Thank you for helping me realize my potential!

Stephanie

Designer

After a difficult childhood and a number of traumatic experiences, it was the devastating loss of a loved one to overdose that finally led Stephanie to seek her own recovery and healing. Now she is a talented designer and advocate!

Thank you for providing a way for me to give back to others who have lost someone to addiction.
