CEO/Founder
Kelly Lyndgaard
While Kelly Lyndgaard may have been trained in engineering and physics, it was her ability to sew a few stitches and lend a listening ear that led her to where she is today.
Kelly is the founder and CEO of Unshattered, a non-profit organization based out of Hopewell Junction, NY. There, Kelly and her team are dedicated to empowering women recovering from drug addiction by providing them with employment and independence through designing handbags from upcycled materials.
A graduate of Taylor University with a degree in Engineering Physics, Kelly found her true calling in 2012 after hearing the story of Emily, a woman who had been battling drug addiction since she was 8 years old. Inspired by her story of perseverance given her circumstances, Kelly founded Unshattered to show women recovering from addiction that they could change the narrative of their lives.
In 2016, Unshattered created full-time employment for women in recovery, and since then 100% of the women on their payroll have chosen to remain sober.
